It's another week and my progress seems to have taken yet another turn. I am now redesigning my art and will be moving to the third generation of my art style. I've been asked to create something new something that re-created the look and feel of 3- Dimensional Depth. I did indeed manage to create what was required of me after long and excruciating hours of laboring over this one particular image. To create the image I, created 3d looking cubes and covered them in blue strips and made those strips luminescent. Within the depth of the image, I placed what would be called fog if it ever existed inside the depths of a computer.
At first the image was alright, but as i progressed I had to make the image darker and darker because it was getting too bright and there was limited contrast in the image. The most troubling part of this image was being able to tile the texture over and over again. At first this proved difficult as this was my first time trying to create a complex texture (one that included intricate details like fog) and had never encountered a problem such as this in my previous generations of Art.
After lot's of trial and error, I was finally able to create the tile-able texture that i wanted and my team wanted. Overall, I created the image I wanted and was able to overcome stubborn obstacles that stood in my way.
